Carol Cole, beloved wife, mother, sister, and daughter, passed away after a long, courageous battle with leukemia on Wednesday, August 10th, 2011, at age 63.
Born in Fort Collins on March 7th, 1948 to Charles and Ruby Langley, Carol lived much of her life in Loveland, where she graduated from Loveland High School in 1966. She married Mark Cole on June 27th, 1980 at Buckhorn Presbyterian Church in Masonville, CO.
Throughout her life, Carol's love and support for her family and friends was never-ending; her door always open to those in need. Among her many enjoyments in life were hiking, snowshoeing, dancing, singing and playing guitar, traveling, and above all, spending time with family. She loved to spoil the pets her children brought home.
Carol worked at Vitamin Cottage for many years where she was manager of supplements and herbs. Her keen interest in natural health practices benefited all those around her.
She is survived by her husband Mark, son David, and daughter Natalie; her brothers Jerry Langley (wife Judy) of Highlands Ranch, Tony Langley of Greeley, and Mike Langley (wife Deborah) of Clay Center, KS; her sisters Janice Helsel (husband Bob) of Oklahoma City, and Bonnie Matthews of Loveland, as well as countless beloved nieces, nephews and in-laws. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Ruby Langley; sister Karen Langley; brother Charles Jr.; nephews Vincent Matthews and Charles "Buddy" Langley.
Carol's quality of Life towards the end was greatly improved by blood transfusions, so in lieu of memorial contributions she has asked everyone to support their local blood bank. A Celebration of her Life will be held at 11:00am Monday, August 15th at Trinity United Methodist Church, 801 N. Cleveland in Loveland.
